Maximise your guest capacity with a Jay-Be® Traditional e-Sprung Contract Upright Bed.  Designed to fit through standard doorway openings and rolled into any room when needed the bed can be easily lowered by one person and simply stored in the upright position.

Deep Sprung Mattress
The Deep sprung core mattress is topped with a comfort layer of luxury lambswool naturally improving the fire resistance of the mattress and actively wicking away moisture for temperature regulation. At 18cm deep the Upright Bed offers permanent bed comfort.

Steel Frame Construction
The Jay-Be Upright Bed is made from a robust mild steel frame which is finished in a hard wearing epoxy powdered coated finish. 

Solid wood base
To get the most support from the mattress the Upright bed has a strong solid top wood base made from FSC certified wood harvested from sustainable sources.

Zero to landfill manufacturer
Jay-Be is an independently audited and certified zero-to-landfill manufacturer, ensuring that all waste from its manufacturing processes is either recycled or recovered for energy, with nothing sent to landfill.

Recycled materials
Jay-Be incorporates recycled materials wherever possible to reduce reliance on virgin resources. The e-Fibre™ comfort layers in the mattress contain fibres made from recycled polyester, derived from plastic bottles, with a minimum of 70% recycled content.

e-Fibre is sourced from a GRS-certified manufacturer
Jay-Be e-Fibre™ is supplied by a Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified manufacturer, ensuring rigorous environmental and social responsibility standards are met.

Over 200 million plastic bottles recycled
Replacing foam with e-Fibre™ comfort layers has resulted in more than 200 million plastic bottles being recycled so far - and this number continues to grow. (as of March 2025)

Sustainably made in the UK
This Jay-Be folding bed embraces the use of recycled and recyclable materials, OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics, and 100% foam-free design. Produced in certified zero-to-landfill UK facilities powered entirely by certified renewable energy. It is also designed for easier end-of-life recyclability, and features responsibly sourced e-Fibre™ in its mattress, supplied by a Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified manufacturer.
