Recently, the Jay-Be team has been rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in something a little different from the everyday. They have been taking time out to carry out litter picks around the local area, which has been a great opportunity for everyone to come together outside of the workplace and do something positive for the wider community.
Across a number of sessions, the team collected rubbish from roadsides, children’s play areas, pathways, and even down by the riverbank. These are places that are used and enjoyed by many people, so it was rewarding to see the difference a few hours of teamwork could make. By clearing away discarded rubbish and tidying up overgrown edges, the spaces were left looking cleaner, safer, and far more welcoming.
Taking part in these activities has not only helped to improve the local environment but also reminded us of the impact that waste can have when it is not disposed of responsibly. We’re really proud of the team’s commitment and grateful for the time and effort they put in to make such a positive difference.
